Raina Steer-Pitcher BScPT, SPD, FCAMPT

Raina joined CSOM in 2016.  She has over 18
years of experience with a multitude of different
orthopaedic/musculoskeletal/athletic injuries and conditions.  Her
post-graduate areas of focus include: advanced manual & manipulative
therapy, sport specific rehabilitation, functional dry needling, medical
acupuncture, myofascial release, yoga and patient specific exercise

Raina completed her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the
University of Alberta, Canada in 2000 (BScPT) and her Diploma in Sport
Physiotherapy (SPD) in 2003.  In 2010, she received her Diploma in Advanced
Manual and Manipulative Therapy (FCAMPT).  Raina also completed her YTT 200
level Yoga Instructor certification in 2013.  She completed both levels of
the Functional Dry Needling Certification (FDN) in 2014 and her Level 2
Medical Acupuncture in 2016.  She continues to advance her skills yearly and
is trained in advanced taping and Kinesotaping techniques.  

Raina has been an active athlete her whole life with her main sports being
running, triathlon, volleyball, dance, equestrian, and field hockey.  She
has worked with many levels of athletes from weekend warriors to
professionals.  She has great passion to work with anyone who loves to move
and would like to do it better.
